After upgrading to Firefox 3.6, I noticed that it would take a long time to load pages, but I thought nothing of it until I realized Web Vissum was no longer working. I went back to using version 3.5.2, which seemed to fix the problem for awhile, but I didn't think to turn off auto updating in Firefox, so I suppose it went back to 3.6. So, I uninstalled the existing version, which said 3.5.7, and went back to 3.5.2. Web Vissum still isn't working. I really need to know how I can fix this problem because there's a site I use frequently that has a captcha. I did not remove personal data and add-ons when I uninstalled Firefox, so maybe that's the problem, that everything relating to it needs to be removed from my system, but I'd rather not do that if I don't have to because I don't remember my webvisum login info. Thanks for any suggestions.

Oh, I guess I forgot to mention my operating system. I'm using Windows XP SP2 if it makes a difference, and Jaws 10.

actually i think thats the problem you have to go into add ons possibly disable and then re enable the web visum plug in and then re log in to it which means you'll need to remember your log in info.

Ok, I'll do that, thanks. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. After I do that, would it be ok to upgrade back to 3.6, or is it the new version that's causing the problem?

No, not that I see anyway. I'm right now on 7 64-bit with jaws 11.0.752, firefox 3.6, and am having no problems with web vissum whatsoever. I say just disable and renable it and see what happens. I think that their is a forgot password button in the dialogue box, but am not sure.

also, do you have the latest version, i think older versions don't like firefox 3.5 and later

well firefox usually updates your plug ins as newer versions become available. And yeah no issues with 3.6 here.
